Published by isaiah12 at 7:33 pm under Bee Gees, Celebrity, Music, Robin Gibb, Singers Edit This

In September 1993 the Bee Gees released their next album “Size Isn’t Everything”. The album only reached #153 in the US while overseas it faired better. It reached #28 in France, #23 in the UK, #12 in Germany and #1 in Argentina. It included the hit singles “Paying the Price of Love”, “Kiss Of Life” and “For Whom The Bell Tolls”. The album also included a dedication to the children of war torn Yugoslavia called “Blue Island”. The album was dedicated to the brothers father, Hugh Gibb, who passed away on March 5, 1992. On November 2, 1993 the brothers appeared on the Howard Stern show. Howard asked the boys if they had ever cheated on their wives. When the question reached Robin he answered that he did on his first wife but not on his current wife. He then announced that Dwina is a lesbian and that they have a three way relationship between Dwina, her lover and Robin. Dwina received a blue Jaquar from Robin as an apology for his comments on the show. Dwina was not embarrassed that the truth was out. She just didn’t want her family hurt by it. In 1995 Robin and Dwina’s home in Oxfordshire was broken into by an obessive fan. The woman was found hiding in a cupboard with a video camera and tape recorder. “Still Waters” was released on March 1997 and sold over four million copies. This album did much better in the US, debuting at #11. The first single “Alone” reached #30 in the US and #5 in UK. Then in November 1998 they released a live album “One Night Only”. It was recorded in 1997 at the MGM Grand in Los Vegas, Nevada. The CD was missing a few songs from the concert. But a DVD was released with the full concert. During the concert Robin, Maurice and Barry sang a tribute to Andy, “(Our Love) Don’t Throw It All Away”. During the song a screen shows footage of Andy and during the second verse vocals from Andy’s original recording can be heard.
