9. “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (VHS)

With the release of “This Is Where I Came In” in 2001 Robin, Maurice and Barry were kept busy promoting their new album.

Robin even did a call in interview from London to a Boston Massachusetts radio station, Star 93.7. So I was able to hear Robin on my local radio station!

The Bee Gees made an appearance on the Tonight Show to promote the new album. They sang “She Keeps On Coming”. With Robin giving an emotional performance on lead.

After the song the brothers joined Jay for an interview. When Jay asked when they first began to play. They answered in the 50’s when they were 5 and 7. They would stand on street corners and sing to try to be discovered. But Barry got arrested, for stealing a post office bike.

Maurice talked about his special guitar. Given to him by John Lennon. It is the guitar John used on “Hard Days Night” and “Help”.

Jay talked about a party they were at. Saying the brothers had sang acapella. And it was “amazing”! I think everything Robin, Maurice and Barry do is amazing! What about you?
