14. “Ellen Opening” (VHS)
During the fourth season of Ellen’s half hour sitcom show. Each week different musical acts would sing the theme song at the beginning of the show.
On May 14, 1997 for the show titled “Moving On” the Bee Gees made an uncredited appearance in the opening sequence.
The Bee Gees (looking so sexy) were all dressed in black as they stood with Ellen around one mic. With their beautiful and perfect harmony Robin, Maurice and Barry began to sing acapella.
“Know I’m close I’ll keep my promises.
I’ll always listen when you talk to me.
I’ll always hear you.”
As the brothers finish singing, Ellen covers her ear and sings “Yeahhh…” off key.
