15. “Good Morning Britain” (VHS)

In 1991 Robin and Maurice made an appearance on “Good Morning Britain”.

First up was the cooking segment. Where Robin and Maurice watched as Rustie Lee (who commented that she found out they were twins the last time they were on the show) made Bacon and Avocado Tacos.

Considering the fact that Robin is a vegetarian makes for a few laughs here. “Is anyone really going to eat this? I mean this early in the morning.” “It really looks like it’s finished. In fact, it looks dead.” (Robin) And when Lorraine Kelly asks if Robin could eat it if they took the bacon out. “You’d have to coax him.” (Maurice) “Pay me alot of money.” (Robin)

After the cooking segment the twins join Mike Morris and Lorraine Kelly to talk about their “High Civilization” album and the first single from the album “Secret Love”. And a clip from the video is shown.

From Robin we learn that it is “important to have a style that people can identify.”

From Maurice “We like to record singles on our lp. We like them all to be singles.”

And most important for us fans. When asked why don’t they give up and relax.

“That wouldn’t be relaxing.” (Robin)

“We love working.” (Maurice)

And the fans love what you do!
