Memories From Meeting the Bee Gees
1. Bee Gees Photos
Along with coming home with some beautiful pictures of the ocean, the Miami Seaquarium, the Miami Metro Zoo, our motel, the airport (it was our first plane ride!) and all the beautiful sights around Miami Beach(palm trees, some of the buildings, etc.)
We also came home with a collection of Bee Gees pictures.
We took pictures of the 11th Street Diner. This was the diner the brothers are seen in photos in the “Size Isn’t Everything” CD. We also have the menu from the diner that shows the history of the building. It is an original art deco diner that was built in 1948 by the Parmount Dining Car Company of New Jersey. It was moved to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where it remained in business for 44 years. It was then dismantled, moved to the Historic Art Deco District of Miami Beach. Restored to it’s original art deco form of Miami Beach. Restored to it’s original deco form and opened on September 11, 1992.
